That said, Digitsu (the company responsible for Faria's sets) has great production value, low prices, and many ways to view the product. Faria's DHG set plus his upcoming Z-Guard set would probably be more along the lines of Ryan's set. This is less of a full game - Faria plays plenty of Z-Guard too, as evidenced by his upcoming Z-Guard DVD, but it is solid info for just the Deep Half. Faria's set is more of a straight to DHG series, and as /U/Brasil_Nuts said it is more focused on a straight leg DHG than Ryan's, which emphasizes the waiter sweep and other options. In Ryan's set, DHG is an answer to a skilled opponent, using more standard underhook Half Guard techniques to arrive there. In fact, pretty much the entire first disc is 'regular' underhook Half Guard. Which you select depends on what you want: -Ryan's set is more than just a DHG DVD, it is an entire Half Guard DVD for people who want DHG in their game it is more comprehensive than just Deep Half. Ryan Hall's, Glover's, Faria's, and Caio's 111 Half Guard Techniques. I have pretty much all of the main resources available for DHG.
